The wallpaper in the foyer is a popular pattern from the 1850s. This is a view of the front door from the foyer. The top picture shows the view from just inside the front door, and the doorway to the right leads into the dining room We have no information regarding the beautiful gold mirror that was left in the hallway.
Abatement
This wallpaper was throughout the foyer and hallways on the first and second floor.

Moses, the sheet rock contractor, discovered a leak under the second floor bathrooms. There were two cast iron tubs weighing 600 pounds each placed here with very little support underneath. One of these was leaking. They did, however have a nice cable going up into the attic for support. That answered our question, “what in the heck is this cable attached to” ? This repair required another beam for adequate support hidden by a drop down box.
